The clock is ticking, the ground is warming, and the work list growing. We have much to do before we can begin seeding. Just gotta keep pressing on and in a few weeks we'll look back and say, "wow that wasn't too bad!". So blessed to have another season to farm. Hope you enjoy the video!

  • The tires are probably bias-ply tires & would also make good "bituminous asphalt" with mixing it with class 5 gravel, oil & you have asphalt.

    duggydoduggydo7 months ago
    • @Robert Welker I don't think I would call it unbearable duggy. It is pretty bad though with the hundreds of breaks. I hope not all your videos are like this because other that the bad editing, it is interesting video. I like the farming and mechanic stuff. I subscribed so hopefully the future videos are better quality editing.

  • Flip the wearbar over so the plastic is underneath. The new ones are full aluminum and do not have the nylon strips at all on top. They are the same thickness as the old+strip. Also I made a trapezoid shaped unloader for under the carts to drop seed/fertilizer out of the tanks into the auger without all the mess.... EDIT - Check the clevis ends of the main folding rams, we had one split in half and the wing flopped down. EDIT 2 - Your seed tower tops are worn out, that center hole is supposed to be smaller and have plastic extending downwards more. Not the end of the world but watch for leaks out the bottom as fertilizer getting into the space could cause a blowout. EDIT 3 (lol) - The AFS700 seems to have an issue with calibrating dead zone for autosteer. If your tractor starts oscillating side to side and trying to throw you out of the seat while tracking a line that may be the problem. I've been running a 535HD with a similar issue. It also seems GPS related as there are "dead spots" in the field where it happens.

  • That noise in the bearing may be just the weight of that roller hanging on it. That looking roller is probably sagging under it's own weight causing the shaft to be at a slight angle. As its rotating its forcing the bearing to move slightly in its housing, great videos can't wait to see planting!
