Oh the CRAZINESS of Spring Planting!

Dad and Scott are knocking out the acres seeding which means Nick is in charge of all the pre plant spraying. This job can get crazy when weather gets bad as it greatly reduces the window to get acres finished. In the end everything comes together and we always seem to get the job done!

  • Just curious Nick....being the spray guy have you ever checked the balance(ph levels) of the water for the sprayer. I want to know if it makes the herbicide/pesticide more or less effective and is there any cost savings doing so(using less chemical per application).

  • Many of your viewers asked questions about seed treatments and spraying with various chemicals. I might suggest you check out Mike Mitchell’s recent video *What Are Chickpeas* as that type of explanation relating to the types of crops you grow would be VERY EDUCATIONAL to your viewers. I believe your farm had first hand experience dealing with spoilage for the type of crop that was stored in your machine shed and the related problems selling the product.
