I mean seriously these narrow hoppers look like rockets! 😂 In reality we are super happy to get this little hopper moved to our bin yard considering we bought it from the neighbor over 20 years ago. It'll make for great small seed storage that is easily accessible.
Thanks for watching! You all are the best!

  • Just a random thought, use the empty barrels as forms down in the holes for the hopper bins. Good use for the barrels, known volume for the cement, protects your pour a bit, and gets rid of the barrels off the ground.

  • I have been looking at Google maps. A lot of the farms around you have ponds and livestock. I am surprised at that. I also don't really believe you are near Shelby, that's too far south to shoot bowling balls at Canada. It is cool how you can see the tractor tracks in all the fields. I understand hiding your true location. Zach has stalkers at the end of his driveway.

  • I grew up on a small farm and watching your channel takes me back to my childhood. As I now work in construction as an Industrial Electrician, there is a device we use called a retractable life line (or google yoyo for fall protection) which you could use for climbing up that extension ladder. You could attach the yoyo to the boom with a shackle and add a tag line to he hook. Once the boom is extended you pull down on the tag line and put the hook onto the D ring of a harness. Hopefully you won't need it but it will stop a fall.

  • Have you seen the Franki piling system? Basically, you did a smallish hole and drop a cherry bomb in the bottom to make a crater down there. The explosion compacts the dirt in the area and creates a larger cavity at the bottom of the hole. Small hole, strong footing.

  • When you were moving the old barrels i had noticed some older heavy barrels that are perfect for burn barrels as they will last for quite a while . I cut the top and bottom out then make two fairly large rectangular openings at the bottom but keep the end ring on the barrel then i cut 2"holes in different spots on the sides for extra air to burn -- all cut with a plazma cutter but be really careful if there is any smell of anything flamable inside . If so i will cut the top off with an air chisel then plazma . I put the barrels on three broken patio block pieces and just lift it up to empty the ashes with a shovel .
